Have you ever wondered what it would be like to work at Facebook or Google?
Lucky for you,
an infographic
from Glassdoor offers some valuable insight. Employees from both
companies weighed in on what they like most and least about their
respective
workplaces and, for the first time in four years, employees at Google
said they are more satisfied than those at Facebook.
On a five-point scale, with five being very satisfied and one being very
dissatisfied, employees rated Google a 3.9 and Facebook a 3.7. The
Google
workforce also likes its CEO a little more than Facebook employees do
theirs—Larry Page received a 94 percent approval rating and Mark
Zuckerberg
claimed a 92.
What do the employees dislike about their respective workplaces?
Google:
-
Salary and compensation (7 percent)
-
Politics (6 percent)
-
Work/life balance (4 percent)
Facebook:
-
Long hours (9 percent)
-
Work/life balance (7 percent)
-
Politics (5 percent)
